Assuch, there is not much difference in both these exams in terms of exam pattern or syllabus but the level of difficulty would be higher in the case of SI exam. So, just go through the RPF Constable/SI syllabus along with the list of subjects and topics, & align your preparation in accordance with the latest pattern & syllabus.

As per the official, RPF syllabus for both the categories is same. The level of SI exam will be high in comparison to that of Constable. Also, there will be a deduction of 1/3 marks for every incorrect answer.

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Category 1600 mts run 800 mts Run Long jump High jump
    Constable (Male) 5 mins 45 sec ----- 14 Feet 4 feet
    Constable (Female) ----- 3 min 40 sec 9 Feet 3 feet
    SI (Male) 6 mins 30 sec ------- 12 Feet 3ft 9 inch
    SI (Female) ----- 4 mins 9 Feet 3 feet
